Traditionally known as family friendly, BK Opera is turning Gilbert and Sullivan on its head and dragging it back to its low-burlesque roots. Full of burlesque and boylesque elements, BK Opera presents Adults Only Pirates of Penzance! This promises to be night of bawdy naughty fun, full of dirty jokes and silliness.

Along for the ride are some of Melbourne's finest emerging opera singers, including a few who have sung with the great Opera Australia. This will be a treat for the ears (and the eyes!).

Making her debut with BK Opera as the heroine of the story is acclaimed soprano Belinda Dalton. This fierce little vixen spent 2016 singing up a storm with Opera Australia, touring around the countryside. Singing alongside her is Melbourne’s own Stephen Carolane, who has made a name for himself with his stunning lyrical tones and rippin’ bod!

Completing the cast is a group of singers drawn from Cabaret, Musical Theatre and Opera, each with their own story and wicked sense of humour.
