Lisa Lally
Lisa Belle Lally is a Dramatic Mezzo-Soprano based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Lisa graduated from Newcastle Conservatorium where she studied classical voice, and has since moved to Victoria where she has been active in various operatic and musical productions as well as teaching voice. From Gilbert and Sullivan to Wagner, Lisa has spent the last 15 years performing.
All opportunities to perform are on the cards. Lisa has performed with Opera Northwest, Newcastle Festival Opera, Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria, Citi Opera and is currently rehearsing with BK Opera and Melbourne Opera. Lisa has been cast in principal roles such as Mamma Lucia in Cavaleria Rusicana, Dottore in La Traviata, and continues to work on future roles.
Lisa has studies with Christopher Allan, Marie Ryan, Ghillian Sullivan, Peta Blyth, and most recently with world class contralto Liane Keegan.
In addition to singing and teaching Lisa also has a keen interest in makeup and costuming which she has leveraged to transform herself into a nun, a weeping angel statue, an elderly Mama Lucia, a gypsy, a 1950’s pinup model, and more.
When not dressing up and making loud noises she enjoys a quiet espresso and a game of cards.
