Jonathan Rumsam

Jonathan started singing ten years ago and since then basically refuses to stop. He started off out of high school in the choruses of musical comedies. Later he performed with the Monash Shakespeare Company, first as Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, then later as Duke Felmet in Wyrd Sisters, Terry Pratchett’s take on Shakespeare's Tragedies.

Jonathan finally sang with Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria (notably as Dick Deadeye in USS Pinafore) before finding his way to BK Opera, where he is due to make his operatic debut as Pylade in Iphigenie en Tauride.

Jonathan also plays guitar and sings with the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra.
